Stand Down Charity Event in Sandpoint, Idaho
On July 10, the Idaho State Dental Assocation partnered with the Veterans Association to offer much-needed dental care to Veterans. The ISDA offered oral cancer screenings, necessary antibiotics, and extractions for this often overlooked segment of the population.

Give Kids A Smile®
The Give Kids A Smile® name was first used by the Greater St. Louis Dental Society and a group of dentists who set up a temporary full-service clinic that treated nearly 400 children over two days in February 2002.

Since then, the program has grown enormously. In 2010, events have taken place in 2,132 locations across the nation, with over 50,000 dental team volunteers providing free services to 328,000 underserved children.
